Finn and Bear 2010

It is with pleasure that we announce the arrival of Bear and Finn's lovely litter.  There are seven perfect, curly little butterballs who even on day one looked just like Bear.

There is a touch of sadness with this litter as it will be Finn's last.  She has been a wonderful mother over the years and has loved all of her pups, but it is time for her to have a well earned rest.  The future of Caitlin Labradoodles will now rest with our Tulah and we are excited at the prospect of raising smaller doodles.

12 hours old

Daddy Bear celebrating with a snooze.

Tulah keeps tiptoeing into the puppy room hoping noone will notice---I finally took pity on her and lifted her up to see just what was making the sqeaking noises---she was facinated and calm Finn didn't seem to mind.

Pups at one week. Bear not quite sure what has invaded his bed.

Pups at two and a half weeks.

Introducing Bertie Woofster---the first pup to be chosen.  Proud owners are Lisa and Cath.  Bertie has his own page on Facebook and welcomes visitors!

This is Dizzy--a very dainty lass who will be living with Bill and Maralyn.grandaughter Charlie and daughter Sarah.  Doodles Lulu and Gibbs live in her neighbourhood and are already counting the days until she can join in the fun --poor Lulu will know no peace!

This is India with her besotted owner Alicia.  India will be sharing her life with doodle Muffin.

Introducing Kip---he was just letting Tom know how happy he is to be a part of the family. David and Di and son Jack are counting the days til he can share all his days with them.

Kip and Di rode the Settle/Carlisle train to come for an afternoon of fun with Tulah and Bear----the river was the highlight of the visit.

Kip is wearing the stylish harness.

This is Bear's favourite stance in this month of hot weather!

Here is our biggest boy Beau---his family spotted him in the first photo I sent and thought he would be perfect---he certainly is!

This is a lovely photo of Jayne with Beau.

The puppies thought Thomas was wonderful fun.

Two of our families are unable to come early so I thought it would be nice to give the pups a family portrait with their doggy family--Bear,Koda,Tallulah and Finn.

Handsome Koda who will be joining a very special family with four boys---lucky Koda(lucky boys!)

The big mystery!! Pups at five weeks wondering just how to get down the stairs to join the big dogs.  Big dogs hoping against hope that they don't master it quite yet!

Six weeks old--stairs mastered and now enjoying the whole house!  Absolute treasures---feeling sorry for folk who don't have puppies under foot!

India is the first of the pups to go to her new home.  Alicia and her older doodle Muffin have been preparing for this special day for months and months. Finn looking on as India gives a big slurpy lap!

Dizzi with owners Marilyn and Bill.  She will be joining daughter Sarah and grandaughter Charlie--plus a cat!  She will be just a few doors down from Lulu and Gibbs who just can't wait to welcome her to the doodle neighbourhood.

Kip with Di and David.  He will be sharing his days with three children---all have been primed to beware of sharp puppy teeth!

The next few photos are of Koda's family who absolutely captivated all of our dogs. This is Aiden who climbed into the dog bed and Finn very gently moved over to make room---Finn would have been happy to swap a puppy for a child!

Our Charlie was in seventh heaven to have Casey making of her.

Aiden,Jamie and Casey with some worn out pups.

Andy,Lisa,Casey,Jamie and Aiden and of course Koda. Fourth son Tom is in for a real treat when everyone returns home.

Cath and Lisa finally have their Bertie Woofster. No pup will be more loved or prepared for----I suspect he is a perfect puppy in the making!

This is India in her" socialization" pram. I think it is just wonderful to be able to take her to all the shops and expose her to all the new sights and sounds in her world.  The pups are really too big to happily carry for long and the pram allows her to join in the walks----she can also go to sleep when all the attention gets too much.

India(lft) and Muffin enjoying ball play on a day trip to the sea.

Our biggest pup Beau with Chantelle--Beau is very much a work in progress and will be the pup who changes the most in the first year. He also won the prize for the very biggest paws ever!

Jayne,Chantelle with Beau,Thomas with his new friend black bear and Kev--the real daddy bear  is lying down in front .

This is Caitlin---the smallest of our pups who has grown into a fine sturdy lass who can hold her own with our big dogs----rather nice that one of our bed covers should say Caitlin.

Caitlin with her new family---Chris,Henry,Rosie and Louisa.  The family enjoy kayaking and hope to introduce the little lass soon.  I am sure she will love the water.

Finn let Rosie know that she approved of her to take good care of Caitlin.

Caity at 4+ months old. Her paws look suspiciously like her dads!
